The Strong-Tie LCE4 series of post caps are used to attach the top of posts to beams. The LCE4's universal design provides high capacity while eliminating the need for rights and lefts. For use with 4x or 6x lumber. The LCE4 post cap is approved to be installed with the specified nails. The Strong-Tie LCE4 post base features a G90 galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.
