Description:

Simpson Strong-Tie LS angles are skewable which makes them field adjustable to create 0 to 135 degree angles for maximum versatility. The Strong-Tie LS90Z reinforcing angle features a G185 ZMAX galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.


Installation:
  • Use all specified fasteners.
  • Use hot-dip galvanized (HDG) nails with ZMAX and HDG connector products. Use Type 316 stainless-steel nails with our stainless-steel connector products.
  • LS—field skewable; bend one time only.
  • Joist must be constrained against rotation (for example, with solid blocking) when using a single LS per connection.

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
