Description:

The Simpson Strong-Tie S/HTC provides a slotted connection from the truss or joist to the top track when isolation of two members is required. The Strong-Tie S/HTC heavy truss clip features a G90 Galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.


Installation:
  • Use all specified fasteners.
  • Screws in vertical slots shall not be driven completely flush against the connector when vertical movement is desired.

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
