S/HD - S/HDU Holdowns

Simpson Strong-Tie S/HD series cold-formed steel holdowns deliver exceptional performance with a design that makes for easy installation. Use these cold-formed steel connectors to provide loads for high-load shearwalls, braced-wall panels, and lateral applications. The thoughtful design helps limit material stretch, resulting in low deflection under load.

S/HDU Holdowns can be installed quickly using self-drilling tapping screws and are made of strong 10-gauge steel in a galvanized G90 finish.

S/HDS Holdowns are designed to use fewer fasteners than competing products for a reduced installation time. Install directly on or raised above the base track.

S/HDB Holdowns are installed using bolts to secure to studs or columns. A unique seat design helps to minimize deflection under load.
