True dimensions allow for actual 2x4 stringers to be used. Will buy again for next project!

These worked exactly for their purpose. Fasteners Plus was the only place I could find these. The delivery was as expected and no issues there. The hangers were new in their original Simpsons packaging. I would recommend this distributor and Simpsons.

One note: While some websites, including the page I am on now, suggest buying these hangers with hex drive connector screws, I would recommend using the #8 Simpson wafer head screws if you are doing fine work (I was building a table to support hundreds of pounds, not a deck, so I needed it to be solid). You''ll want the beam that is to be hung in the hangers to be flush with the concealed flange. If you use hex head screws to mount the beam, you can't do that easily. With the wafer head screws, just make a small indent in the beam's cut edge with something like a 3/4" drill bit where the wafer heads would stick into the beam's edge. That way the beam sits flush on the concealed flange instead of there being a gap where the screw heads keep the beam away from the concealed flange.

but expensive. I needed a butt-end joist to a 2x4 face, so options were limited. This piece is unnecessarily finished and expensive - for my needs. My joists are not visible, a perfunctory joist isn't available. It would be appreciated if offered.
