Simpson CBTZ Concealed Beam Ties are skillfully designed to connect horizontal beams atop a vertical post. They continue the structural load path into the foundation through the CPTZ concealed post ties. The CBTZ system features a cylindrical design that can be installed with a regular drill bit. Pins secure the system together through the post and beam to create a solid structural connection without having to see an exposed post cap. Simpson concealed beam ties are available in two models designed to connect beams and posts of a variety of sizes.
