SDS screw column caps ensure strong connections between columns and beams. They use our Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws, making installation quicker and less bulky compared to traditional bolts. Made from durable steel, these connectors come in various types to fit many needs. We offer column caps with or without legs, options for the ends and crossings of beams, and caps for connecting multiple wood beams on top of a column.

Simpson SDS Screw Column Caps

  • CCQ Column Caps: Designed for robust column-beam connections, enhancing support with an extended bearing surface for load distribution, utilizing Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws for fast installation.
  • CCQM/CCTQM/CCCQM Column Caps:
    • CCQM: For floor support beams in non-corner locations, ensuring secure, flush installation.
    • CCTQM: For floor support beams in non-corner locations, featuring a side stirrup for intermediate beams.
    • CCCQM: Accommodates floor support beams and intermediate beams at 90° angles.
