The Simpson Strong-Tie® Fascia Counterbore Bit is designed for use with the Fascia-Fastening Solution™, providing the precision needed to create a secure and professional fascia installation. Featuring a durable carbide tip for long life, this bit predrills and counterbores in a single step, preparing fascia material for proper fastening.
By creating the correct hole dimensions, the bit allows fascia screws to seat securely while still permitting board expansion and contraction. This ensures long-lasting performance without warping, buckling, or oil-canning. Compatible with 1/2"–3/4" fascia boards, the bit is the essential tool for use with Simpson Strong-Tie’s Fascia-Fastening screws.
