Our 3″ ratchet straps are heavy duty and available with your choice of flat hooks, wire hooks, or chain extensions. Built for durability and strength, these straps make it quick and easy to secure a wide range of cargo.

3″ Ratchet Tie Down Straps - Materials and Ratings
- Durable Polyester Webbing: Weather resistant 3″ polyester with minimal stretch, low water absorption, and UV resistance. Webbing break strength up to 20,000 lb.
- Corrosion Resistant Hardware: Long handled ratchets and end fittings are zinc plated for long service life.
- Compliance and Tagging: Each strap is tagged with WLL, break strength, and required details to help meet CVSA guidelines, DOT regulations, and WSTDA and North American Cargo Securement standards.
Types of 3″ Ratchet Straps
Choose the end fitting and length that fits your route and anchor points. Most 3″ assemblies feature a 5,400 Lb. Working Load Limit with lengths from 20′ to 40′ and multiple webbing colors.
- Flat Hook Ratchet Straps: A top choice for flatbeds. Wide, durable webbing and zinc plated flat hooks help resist corrosion.
- Wire Hook Ratchet Straps: Also called double J hooks. The narrow profile fits D-rings and tight anchor points. Ratchet and hooks are zinc plated for corrosion resistance.
- Chain End Ratchet Straps: Sometimes called heavy equipment or commercial ratchet straps. Fitted with a Grade 70 chain anchor and a 3/8″ clevis hook that is compatible with side rails, D-rings, and more.
