The Strong-Tie AC series of post caps are used to attach the top of rough cut posts to rough cut beams. The AC6RZ post cap is approved to be installed with the specified nails or with Strong-Drive SD connector screws. The Strong-Tie AC6RZ post base features a G185 ZMAX galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.
