The Simpson Strong-Tie HDUE Holdown series delivers exceptional lateral-load resistance for demanding residential and multi-story applications. Installation:
Each HDUE holdown is installed using Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws. This method minimizes fastener slip and preserves more of the wood post’s net section compared to bolted connections.
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
