Domestic 3/8" x 16' Grade 70 Tie Down Chain
Grade 70 chain—commonly known as transport chain—is the industry’s most popular tie down choice. With 20% more strength than Grade 43, it provides the durability needed to stabilize large loads and is ideal for most cargo securement applications.
This chain is proudly made in the USA by Columbus McKinnon, a trusted leader in load securement.
Made in the USA Transport Chain Construction
Crafted from high-strength carbon steel, this chain is heat-treated and strength-tested for superior performance. A yellow zinc chromate finish offers corrosion protection, conforms to ASTM B633 Type II standards, and provides quick identification as Grade 70.
The forged carbon steel clevis hooks feature a non-cradle design that fits through flatbed trailer rub rails for quick, secure connections. A shallow throat makes it easy to connect chain, while the cotter pin allows for simple hook replacement if needed.
Note: Grade 70 chain is not approved for overhead lifting.
G70 Truck Tie Down Chain Industry Compliance
This chain is DOT compliant and meets or exceeds FMCSA CFR49 Section 393.104 and NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications. Hooks are embossed with size and grade, and the chain links are grade-marked for quick identification and stress-free inspections.
