What size pilot hole should I drill?
This depends on the screw diameter. Many screws use a smaller bit than the diameter of the screw - for eexample a 1/4" masonry screws use a 3/16" bit - but some use the same size. Always check the manufacturer's specs for best performance.
Are these screws reusable?
Many of them can be reused one time, give more flexibility in installation than other types of concrete anchors. However, some may not be reused, so be sure to check manufacturer's guidelines.
Can I use these in drywall or wood?
Masonry screws are specifically engineered for hard base materials. For wood or drywall, use wood screws or toggle anchors instead.
