Wear Sleeves for Webbing
Protect your tie down straps and sling webbing with durable wear sleeves. Our Cordura nylon sleeves add abrasion and cut resistance where your strap contacts edges, hardware, or the load. Sleeves are designed to fit snugly over webbing and are sold by the linear foot for the most flexible coverage.
Ordering by the foot lets you cover only the high-wear zones. If a single continuous length is required, specify cut lengths in order notes.
Why Use Cordura Wear Sleeves
-
High strength Cordura nylon improves resistance to abrasion and cutting on ratchet straps, winch straps, and other webbing.
-
No change to ratings - sleeves do not increase Working Load Limit or break strength. Always follow the strap WLL.
-
Snug, low profile fit keeps the sleeve in position and helps reduce movement under load.
-
Flexible placement - slide the sleeve to the contact point before tensioning to help extend strap life.
How to Install
- Fold the strap webbing lengthwise to reduce width.
- Feed the folded webbing through the sleeve.
- Unfold and pull the strap to straighten. Position the sleeve where contact or rubbing occurs.
Position sleeves on edges, at hardware interfaces, or anywhere repeated rubbing occurs.
Common Uses
- Protecting ratchet straps on flatbeds and utility trailers
- Guarding axle straps and car tie down assemblies in vehicle transport
- Adding abrasion resistance for winch straps and endless loop straps
