Description
Domestic 1-1/2" 6x37 Bright Wire Rope - EIPS IWRC Built from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) and featuring a 6x36 construction, this 1-1/2" bright wire rope is a high-capacity solution for demanding rigging and lifting jobs. The flexible configuration and IWRC core make it well-suited for large-scale hoisting, winching, and suspension work where fatigue resistance is critical. Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer ID or visibility purposes; these color variations do not affect assembly break strength. Flexible Steel Cable for Large-Scale Rigging & Load Handling The 6x37 class wire rope design delivers enhanced bendability and a longer fatigue life compared to 6x19 ropes, making it ideal for applications that require repeated flexing. Its bright finish is protected with an petroleum-based lubricant, providing internal and external corrosion resistance and reduced friction. This USA-made cable complies with RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 standards for industrial-grade performance and durability. 6x37 Wire Rope Configuration Our wire rope is made using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) refers to the strength of the wire rope - its tensile strength is around 10% greater than an IPS grade, improving the break strength. The class of this wire rope is 6x37. These numbers nominally refer to the construction of the wire rope - the number of outer strands around the core and an estimation of the number of wires within each of these outer strands. so for a 6x37 class, the number of outer strands is 6, and the number of wires making up each strand can range from 27-49. The construction of the rope you will be receiving is 6x36 - if you are looking for something different, please call. Key Features Made in the USA with EIPS-grade steel for maximum strength 6x36 construction ensures exceptional flexibility and fatigue resistance Bright finish with protective lubricant to resist moisture and wear IWRC supports heavy loads and resists deformation under pressure Certified to RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 standards Best suited for high-cycle lifting, winch lines, and suspension systems Sold by the foot and delivered in one continuous length
