Description

This E-track ratchet strap is built for maximum versatility, featuring both E-track and L-track fittings on each end. Whether you're working with E-track, A-track, or L-track systems—also known as airline track—this strap adapts to your setup. It's especially useful in captivated beam systems or mixed rail environments.

The strap is made with industrial-grade polyester webbing, engineered with thicker yarn and a higher pick count than typical straps. Heat-sealed ends resist fraying, while zinc-coated hardware, including the ratchet, adds protection against rust and wear.

Each strap is color-coded by length: yellow (12'), gray (16'), and blue (20')—making it quick to identify the right size on the job.

The E-fitting securely locks into horizontal or vertical E-track or A-track with a spring-loaded keeper. On the L-track end, the delta link allows for angled tie-downs, while the double-stud fitting increases load capacity and security.

The ratcheting mechanism delivers high-tension hold for securing heavy or shifting cargo. For fragile freight, consider using the cam buckle version of this strap to avoid over-tightening.

Each strap is tagged and stenciled with its working load limit and complies with FMCSA andE-Track Cargo Strap Design Factor

According to the WSTDA, design factor is the "ratio of the breaking strength to the working load limit" and should be 3:1 for these E-track tie down Cargo Straps. This builds in a level of redundancy to account for unknown factors, keeping you, your crew, and those around you safe.

Compatible with E-track and X-trackRatchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."

Learn more about proper load handling and securement in the WSTDA safety bulletins.
