This 3/8" 7x19 aircraft cable is manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel and is a popular choice for deck railing systems, pulleys, winches, gym equipment, and general-purpose rigging applications. 7x19 Aircraft Cable Configuration
This aircraft cable is manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel. Type 304 provides excellent corrosion resistance while maintaining strong mechanical properties, making it one of the most widely used stainless steel cable materials available.
The class of this cable is 7x19. In aircraft cable construction, these numbers represent the total number of strands, including the core strand, and an approximation of the number of wires within each strand. A 7x19 construction consists of seven strands, each containing approximately 15-26 individual wires, resulting in a highly flexible and fatigue-resistant cable.
