Description

Crosby® G-2130 Bolt Type Anchor Shackles - Fatigue Rated and Built to Last

For long-term or permanent rigging applications, Crosby G-2130 Bolt Type Anchor Shackles offer the durability and dependability that professionals count on. The anchor bow design accepts loads from multiple directions, making them especially useful in multi-leg sling configurations and wider strap connections.

Manufactured in the USA from forged steel that is quenched and tempered for added strength, each shackle features a hot-dip galvanized finish for corrosion resistance. The bolt-type design includes a thin head bolt secured with a nut and cotter pin, helping to prevent the pin from rotating under load - especially when loads may slide or shift during use.

Each shackle is fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1.5x the working load limit and clearly stamped with the Grade 6 designation, working load limit, PIC code, and Crosby name for identification and traceability.

Key Features:

  • Long-Term Security: Bolt, nut, and cotter pin system prevents accidental pin loosening under sliding loads.
  • Forged for Performance: Quenched and tempered forged steel with alloy bolt delivers superior strength.
  • Fatigue Rated: Rated for 20,000 cycles at 1.5x WLL for dependable long-term use.
  • Temperature Approved: Suitable for use in environments from -40°F (-40°C) to 400°F (204°C).
  • Clear Identification: Marked with working load limit, Grade 6, Crosby brand, and PIC for traceability.

Top Quality & USA made

I know these cost more than the imports. If you need these to perform, trust no other. These are 100% USA made forged & tested. Threads on bolt & nut are deep, and mate well, no slop. It’s apparent they are cut from full diameter rod & not cast threads like import.

The imports have a lot of slop / between nut & bolt (nut wobbles on the threads). The imports nut & bolt only start to grab the threads 1/2 way up the threads, where as the Crosby engage instantly, right at the beginning of the thread, full contact with Crosby. Quality is consistent between Crosby shackles. Imports are sometimes mis shaped, porous surface. I work in the oilfield, many crane & fork lift loads moved daily. Not a single failure from a Crosby shackle.
