Description

This 4" x 27' strap pairs heavy-duty webbing with a ratchet take-up system, giving you the mechanical advantage to secure loads that hand-tightening alone can't match. End hardware is a compact wire hook (also called a double J-hook) built to reach narrow anchor points and D-rings. Sold as a 2-pack.

Key Features

  • Industrial-grade polyester webbing with a tight weave that holds up under repeated abrasion and rough handling
  • Cleanly heat-sealed ends that stop fraying before it starts, extending the working life of the strap
  • Slim wire hook profile that fits into tight anchor points where a bulkier hook won't reach
  • Zinc-plated hardware that stands up to weather and everyday corrosion
  • Tagged and stenciled with break strength and working load limit information to support compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American cargo securement standards

Applications

  • Everyday towing and utility trailer use
  • Moving and general hauling with pickup trucks and trailers
  • Landscaping, construction, and job-site equipment transport
  • Securing lumber, pipe, and other bundled materials

Installation

Route the fixed end of the strap around or through the anchor points on your load, then thread the loose end through the ratchet and take up the slack by hand. Crank the ratchet handle to bring the strap to a snug, even tension, then fold the handle down to lock it in place. Always follow the strap's tagged working load limit and any manufacturer instructions for your specific ratchet mechanism, and check tension periodically during transport.
