Inflatable dunnage bags are an effective way to secure cargo and prevent shifting during transit. Designed for use in vans, trailers, railcars, and overseas containers, these poly-woven air bags fill voids between freight to reduce movement and absorb shock.
The two-way locking valve system allows for fast inflation and deflation—typically in under 30 seconds—while keeping air from escaping during the fill. Use regulated and filtered air at 90 PSI for optimal performance.
Recommended for voids between 0-18 inches in most applications, and 0-12 inches for intermodal rail cars.
Each bag is 100% recyclable and can be reused several times in non-rail applications when handled properly. (The AAR prohibits reuse for U.S. rail transport.) These bags hold pressure effectively through changes in altitude and temperature and are verified by the Association of American Railroads for Level 1 use.
Stored correctly—in a cool, dry, dark space—these dunnage bags can last up to 60 months in inventory.
