This Grade 70 tie down chain is built for demanding cargo securement applications. Measuring 10 feet in length and made from heat-treated carbon steel, this chain delivers strength, durability, and DOT-compliant performance for professional haulers and fleet operators.

- Grade 70 Carbon Steel Chain – 20% stronger than Grade 43, ideal for securing large or heavy loads
- 4,700 lb Working Load Limit – Suited for most flatbed and cargo securement jobs
- Yellow Zinc Chromate Finish – Offers corrosion protection and easy grade identification (ASTM B633 Type II)
- Forged Clevis Grab Hooks – Carbon steel hooks with non-cradle design for quick, secure attachment through trailer rub rails
- Replaceable End Fittings – Clevis-style connections allow easy hook replacement if damaged
Industry Compliance
This chain and hook assembly meets or exceeds FMCSA CFR49 Section 393.104 and NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications. Each hook is embossed with size and grade, and the chain links are grade-marked for quick identification during inspections. Note: Grade 70 chain is not rated or approved for overhead lifting.
