Specifications
This shoulder eye bolt is crafted from heavy-duty forged steel and features a galvanized finish to resist corrosion. Designed for both straight and angular lifting applications, it is important to note that angular lifts will considerably decrease its rated load capacity.
Please Note: Loading at an angle will significantly reduce a bolt's rated capacity. A 75 degree angle reduces the working load limit by 45%; a 60 degree angle reduces it by 65%; a 45 degree angle reduces it by 75%. Never load at an angle less than 45 degrees from the bolt center line.
⚠️Warning: Eye Bolts
Never exceed the maximum working load limit / load capacity. Doing so can result in product failure leading to injury or death.
When loading at angles, rated capacity is drastically reduced (for example, at 45 degrees, it's reduced to 1/4 of the original value).
The angle from the bolt centerline should never be greater than 45 degrees.
Always apply loads in the plane of the eye.
Ensure proper seating for shoulder lifting eyes before use, otherwise the working load limit will be reduced. If it does not bear firmly against the mating part, a steel washer or spacer may be required.

Shipping was quick, bolts are just what I needed. The threads were nice and clean as well which made them easy to install. Will buy again when needed.
This bolt does exactly what you would expect it to do from the description. And the price was excellent and the shipping quick.
I ordered 2 of these Galvanized Shoulder Eye Bolts to use in a king pin adapter plate which required a 5/8" diameter bolt. These are 5/8" in diameter plus some. I had to grind down close to 1/8" at the seam that is probably made while forging the product during the manufacturing process. Afterwards I painted the bare metal to protect it from rusting. Except for this minor defect I think they can be used for the purpose that I needed them for.
