Description

You've spent all that money on quality decking products, why use fasteners that aren't designed to last the lifetime of the deck? Conquest 304 stainless deck screws are high quality, corrosion resistant deck screws designed to do your future deck a favor by preventing unsightly fastener rust stains. This package of 350 installs 100 sq. ft. of decking for standard 6" wide boards and 16" joist spacing. The trim head version of our deck screws feature a 6-lobe star drive for a positive engagement and less stripping of screw heads. The smaller trim head easily recesses into wood and leaves a smaller footprint which makes it easier to cover with wood filler. A type 17 point and serrated point threads make installation easy and preserve battery life on your cordless screw gun. Trim screws are versatile and can be used on a wide array of different projects and are commonly used as a substitute for nails. If you're looking for trim head deck screws for severe applications like ocean side installation, check out our Conquest 316 Stainless Steel Trim Head Deck Screws.

Installation:

  • Pre-drilling is recommended.
  • For harder wood species, pre-drilling is required to avoid stripping the screw heads.
  • Use a screw gun with variable torque settings for best results.

    Bad batch?

Had about 20 of the first 50 screws strip or break off at the head.
    Returned.
    Likely just a bad batch
