You've spent all that money on quality decking products, why use fasteners that aren't designed to last the lifetime of the deck? Conquest 316 stainless deck screws are the high quality, corrosion resistant deck screws designed for severe corrosive environments like ocean side applications. This package of 1750 installs 500 sq. ft. of decking for standard 6" wide boards and 16" joist spacing. The trim head version of our deck screws features a 6-lobe star drive for a positive engagement and no stripped screw heads. The smaller trim head easily recesses into wood and leaves a smaller footprint which makes it easier to cover with wood filler. A type 17 point and serrated point threads make installation easy and preserve battery life on your cordless drill or impact driver. Trim screws are versatile and can be used on a wide array of different projects and are commonly used as a substitute for nails.

Eric Bjorkstedt
Mixed bucket

These screws were perfect for my need (deck construction)… at least those that worked. A substantial fraction had shallow or malformed heads (driver bit would not seat cleanly) and a separate fraction were bent coming out of the bucket—perhaps casualties of rough handling during shipping? If I didn’t catch these misfits immediately (and it took some time to catch the pattern), it was easy to get snared in a skip-n-strip or even a time-wasting screw extraction. Rough estimate: a 10% failure rate. The screws that were well formed worked like a charm.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review. We are sorry to hear that some of these screws did not function properly. Quality of our products is very important to us and we would like to bring this to the attention of our quality department. Please email your order number along with pictures of the product you received to and we can work with you on a resolution. We look forward to hearing from you and working together on a resolution.
