Crosby® 1-1/8" Terminator Wedge Socket - S-421T
Specifications
Rigging setups using larger-diameter wire rope still need a termination that comes apart cleanly for a rope swap, and Crosby's 1-1/8" TERMINATOR® wedge socket is built for exactly that. It secures the rope's dead end against the wedge, resisting the loosening that can happen with a less purpose-built socket.
Key Features
- TERMINATOR® wedge design secures the wire rope's dead end and resists wedge loss or "punch out."
- Crosby's patented QUIC-CHECK® "Go"/"No-Go" gauge is cast into the wedge to confirm the correct rope size is in use.
- Pairs with a standard Crosby Red-U-Bolt® for a complete termination assembly.
- Sized for 1-1/8" wire rope, with additional diameters available for other rope sizes.
Applications
- Larger-diameter rigging setups where wire rope needs to be replaced quickly or frequently.
- Crews standardizing on Crosby-branded terminations for documented, name-brand compatibility.
- Jobs where confirming correct rope size at the termination point reduces field errors.
