Crosby® 3/8" Terminator Wedge Socket - S-421T
Specifications
Wire rope terminations need to hold under load and come apart cleanly when it's time for a replacement, and this 3/8" Crosby® TERMINATOR® wedge socket is built to do both. It secures the dead end of the wire rope against the wedge so the wedge can't work loose or punch out under repeated use, while still allowing a quick rope swap when the job calls for it.
Key Features
- TERMINATOR® wedge design secures the wire rope's dead end to the wedge and resists wedge loss or "punch out."
- Crosby's patented QUIC-CHECK® "Go"/"No-Go" gauge is cast directly into the wedge to confirm the correct rope size is being used.
- Pairs with a standard Crosby Red-U-Bolt® for a complete termination assembly.
- Sized for 3/8" wire rope, with additional diameters available for other rope sizes.
Applications
- Rigging setups where wire rope needs to be replaced quickly or frequently.
- Crews standardizing on Crosby-branded terminations for documented, name-brand compatibility.
- Applications where confirming correct rope size at the termination point reduces field errors.
