The Crosby® McKissick 8" Sheave Snatch Block with Shackle is designed for high-capacity lifting, tensioning, and load direction control. Built to work with 5/8" to 3/4" wire rope, this Type 419 snatch block features a forged steel swivel shackle and a drop-side plate for quick, efficient rope changes. It supports an 8-ton working load limit and meets or exceeds ASME B30.26 standards.
The bronze bushings reduce wear and allow smooth sheave rotation under load. Part of Crosby’s modular block system, this unit is also compatible with hook assemblies from other 418/419 blocks ranging in size from 4-1/2" to 14". This makes it ideal for operations that demand flexibility, field interchangeability, and consistent safety.
