This 5/16” grade 70 transport chain and ratchet binder kit is made in the USA, pairing a Columbus McKinnon ratchet binder with a length of grade 70 chain fitted with clevis grab hooks on each end. It's a matched, two piece kit for flatbed and trailer securement, built for shops and fleets that specifically need domestically manufactured chain and hardware.
Key Features
- Includes one Columbus McKinnon ratchet binder and one length of 5/16” grade 70 transport chain with clevis grab hooks on each end, both manufactured in the USA
- Ratchet binder handle uses self locking, one way bolts that make it easy to clear out mud, ice, snow, or debris
- Binder is built from forged steel with a powder coated finish, with gears permanently welded to the barrel for long term durability
- Chain is manufactured from high strength carbon steel, roughly 20% stronger than grade 43 chain, and is strength tested and heat treated for durability
- Yellow zinc chromate finish on the chain resists corrosion and weathering
- Kit working load limit is 4,700 lbs
- Hooks on the chain and binder are embossed with size and grade, chain links carry grade embossing, and the binder is marked with its working load limit and a traceability code
- Chain meets or exceeds FMCSA CFR49 Section 393.104 and NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications; binder meets or exceeds WSTDA T-6 Recommended Standards
