Specifications
This two-piece kit pairs a 5/16" Grade 70 transport chain with a Peerless QuikBinder Plus ratchet binder, giving you a matched chain-and-binder setup for flatbed cargo securement in one package. The chain features clevis grab hooks on each end and a yellow zinc chromate finish for protection from the elements, while the ratchet binder is built for fast, secure tensioning with a design that folds out of the way once the load is set. It's available in multiple chain lengths so you can match the kit to your trailer and load setup.
Key Features
- Peerless QuikBinder Plus ratchet binder with three working positions: ratchet extension, ratchet take-up, and free spin for quick adjustment in either direction
- Folding handle tucks the ratchet mechanism out of the way once the load is secured
- Tamper-resistant binder design accepts a long shank padlock (sold separately) and can be stored in the locked position
- Standard link Grade 70 chain with clevis grab hooks on both ends
- Yellow zinc chromate finish helps protect the chain from weather and general wear
- High-strength carbon steel chain construction, roughly 20% stronger than Grade 43 chain, that is strength-tested and heat-treated
- Hooks are embossed with size and grade, the chain carries grade embossing on the links, and the binder includes a traceability code to make inspections easier
