The LCE is a versatile, two-piece light post cap designed to connect the end of a beam to a post, accommodating 4x and 6x lumber. Ideal for both new and retrofit construction, it is load-rated when installed in pairs. Key features include a universal design that eliminates the need for right and left pieces, superior strength compared to angled nailing or screw fastening, and the elimination of nailing into end grain. It is also tested and approved for mitered end conditions. The LCE4 is made from 20-gauge (33 mil) material with a G90 zinc galvanized coating.
PLEASE NOTE: These must be installed in pairs.
