Description

E-Track Wheel Strap with Rubber Blocks - For Low-Clearance Vehicle Tie-Down

This car tie-down strap is designed for low-clearance E-track applications. It includes a wide-handle ratchet and three E-track fittings that snap directly into standard E-track rails. Rubber tread blocks are included to seat into the tire’s rain grooves, helping to keep the strap centered and stable during transport.

The strap is made from 12,000 lb industrial-grade polyester webbing for strength and durability. A floating E-track fitting is protected by a black Cordura sleeve to reduce wear in high-friction areas. The webbing resists stretching, abrasion, moisture, and shrinkage for long-lasting performance.

Key Features:

  • Three E-Track Fittings: Snap directly into E-track rails with spring-loaded keepers for secure attachment.
  • Rubber Tire Blocks: Fit into tire grooves for added grip and strap alignment.
  • Wide-Handle Ratchet: Provides tension control with a larger grip area.
  • 12,000 lb Polyester Webbing: Resists abrasion, shrinkage, and moisture.
  • Cordura Sleeve: Reinforces wear-prone area around the floating fitting.
  • Vehicle Securement: One strap per tire is recommended for full tie-down coverage.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."

Etrack length

It was difficult to position the car on my car hauler where I wanted it and still able to bolt the 5 foot tracks into a minimum of 3 crossmembers. 6 foot tracks would have made things alot easier.

Good idea , needs modification

the Rubber blocks wear easily .
Not good for long trips if you want piece of mind .
Not a positive solution.

Car hauler tire web

I've tried the car hauler strap with the three rubber units and can say it definitely does not work over extended periods of time.

Middle tie down point

Straps are great... only thing I would change is the middle tie down needs a swivel... it puts a huge bind on the strap. I can see this is the point where frags will occur.
