1/2" 8x19 Spin-Resistant Wire Rope Cable
This 1/2" 8x19 spin-resistant wire rope is designed to reduce rope rotation and load spin during lifting operations. Manufactured from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), this Category 3 rotation-resistant wire rope is well-suited for hoisting unguided loads with single-part or multi-part line systems where controlled load handling and dependable durability are required.
1/2" 8x19 Spin-Resistant Wire Rope for Hoists, Cranes & Lifting Applications
Engineered with inner strands laid in the opposite direction of the outer strands, this 8x19 wire rope helps counteract rotational forces that develop while under load. The actual 8x25 construction provides excellent flexibility and durability, making it more resistant to wear than many higher-category rotation-resistant ropes. The bright steel finish is lubricated with an A-1 petroleum-based coating that helps reduce internal friction and provides basic moisture resistance, while the Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) enhances strength, support, and crushing resistance.
