This 4" standard portable winch offers flexible positioning and quick installation, making it ideal for setups where permanent mounting isn't required. Its bottom mount design provides reliable tie-down support while allowing you to place the winch exactly where it’s needed for optimal strap angles and load balance.
Capable of storing up to 20 feet of 4" webbing, this winch is perfect for trailer, flatbed, and utility vehicle applications. Includes mounting screws for easy setup. Rated at a 5,500 lb working load limit for heavy-duty cargo securement.

For tensioning, the WSTDA recommends in section 4.3.5 that "When using any winch, the winch mandrel shall have a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) wraps of webbing. Two to four wraps will appear like four to eight layers of webbing. Less than two wraps may result in strap slippage; more than four will place unnecessary strain on the winch. Excessive straps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the winch and may interfere with proper operation."
