The Simpson Strong-Tie CBSDQ138-5K CBSDQ Sheathing-to-CFS Screws are engineered for high-volume sheathing installations into cold-formed steel (CFS). With optimized drill points and fine threads, they easily pierce steel framing and secure structural sheathing materials without the need for predrilling.
Designed specifically for attaching wood sheathing, gypsum panels, rigid foam insulation, and other sheathing products to steel up to 16 gauge, these screws deliver reliable holding power and meet code requirements with an ICC-ES listing (ESR-4061). The CBSDQ screws are perfect for commercial framing, multi-family construction, and modular builds where speed and consistency matter most.
