Description

4" x 30' Blackline Heavy Duty Tie Down Strap with Chain Extension

These 4" Blackline heavy-duty ratchet straps are built to deliver maximum strength and durability. Made from industrial-strength polyester webbing with a break strength of 24,000 lbs. and a working load limit of 6,670 lbs., they’re 23.5% stronger than standard 4" straps.

The webbing is engineered for superior abrasion resistance, with a reinforced edge made from concentrated webbing that slows down wear (though edge protection is still recommended).

Both the ratchet assembly and chain extension are zinc-plated for added durability and corrosion resistance.

Why Choose 3/8" Chain Extension End Hardware?

Chain extensions combine the strength of Grade 70 transport chain with the flexibility of polyester webbing. This allows you to secure loads using rub rails or stake pockets without risking damage to the webbing. Each 18" extension includes a 4" D-ring and a clevis grab hook for quick, reliable connections, making it easier to secure heavy-duty loads with confidence.

All of US Cargo Control's ratchet straps are tagged and stenciled with the working load limit to meet FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.

Learn more about proper load handling and securement in the WSTDA safety bulletins.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."

I bought 2 of these and love them so much I want to buy 2 more but says call to order. Hopefully I can still get more. I had these riding on edges that I though for sure was gonna cut them because I forgot to bring corner protectors. These straps barely got scuffed. Any other strap it would of been a one time use job but not these! The ratchets are very heavy duty. Try all you want you arnt gonna bend these by tightening. Ive used others that distourt under slight tension. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on the BlackLine Ratchet Straps! We are so happy to hear that these worked well for your application and that they held up even on edges. If you wish to order more, you can call our sales specialists at 866-444-9990 option 1 and our team can get an order going for you! Our hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm CST.
