Description

24′ × 28′ Heavy-Duty Lumber Tarp - 8′ Drop & Flap - 18 oz PVC - Blue

This 24′ × 28′ blue lumber tarp is designed for large, full-height flatbed loads requiring extended drop coverage and high durability. Featuring 8′ drops and a 12″ rain flap, it’s ideal for shielding tall stacks of lumber, paneling, or mixed freight from harsh road and weather conditions. The bold blue finish adds professional visibility while the rugged build keeps your cargo protected.

Extended Coverage for Demanding Flatbed Work

Constructed from 18 oz PVC-coated polyester, this tarp features three rows of welded 2″ D-rings (93 total) sewn on after heat-sealing, plus 58 oversized grommets spaced around the perimeter. Each D-ring includes a backing pad to reduce abrasion, and the entire edge is reinforced with 2″ webbing for added durability. With a cold crack rating of -40°F and UV protection rated Grade 6-7, this tarp is built to perform all year long.

Key Features

  • Dimensions: 24′ wide × 28′ long with 8′ side drops and a 12″ rain flap for edge and corner protection.
  • 18 oz PVC-Coated Polyester: 20 mil material resists water, mildew, and heavy wear in rough hauling environments.
  • Cold Crack Resistance: Rated to -40°F (-40°C), stays flexible and manageable even in freezing conditions.
  • UV Protection: Grade 6-7 rating for extended resistance against sun damage and fading.
  • Three Rows of Welded D-Rings: 93 total 2″ steel D-rings sewn onto abrasion-resistant pads for long-lasting tie-down strength.
  • Heavy-Duty Grommets: 58 large grommets provide multiple securement options — ideal for odd-shaped or oversized loads.
  • Reinforced Edges: 2″ polyester webbing stitched along the perimeter helps prevent tearing and keeps grommets secure under tension.
  • Blue Color Option: Offers clean, high-visibility coverage and a professional look on the job site or highway.

I'm very satisfied with my new tarp!
If it lasts as long as my last one,
( purchased in 1997 ). I will be extremely happy. The improvements made, such as, larger D-rings were not expected but greatly appreciated. Thank you, Mark, [****]

King of the Tarp World!

We just broke open these bad boys that weighed more than our load (lol) and they are everything and more than they claim. Had to use both over an uneven load which meant some interesting securement! You might want the fork lift guy ( if possible) lift them up top, but they roll out beautifully! So far they've gone through Nevada, Utah, Wyoming's monster winds and they almost seem to challenge the winter weather as there has been no damage whatsoever. If you can handle the weight, these are the kings of tarps!

Heavy tarp

I haven't had a chance yet to put the tarp to use but I can tell you it's definitely a HEAVY tarp .It does seem to be a pretty quality tarp .

The tarps are way too heavy. Did not realize heavy duty mean heavy as well. Did not look at the weight before purchasing.
