M&W 1.65 Ton Horizontal Plate Clamp | Serrated Grip - 24256
Specifications
WLL (tons): 1.65
This M&W horizontal plate clamp uses a serrated grip for extra bite on the plate edge, reducing the chance of slippage compared to a smooth-jaw clamp. Like other M&W horizontal clamps, it's designed to be used in pairs, typically rigged with a multi-leg sling to hold sheets and plates level during a horizontal move.
Key Features
- Serrated grip for a more secure hold and reduced slippage
- Designed for use in pairs, typically with a multi-leg sling
- Rated for a 60-degree sling angle; lesser angles reduce the working load limit
- Working load limit is rated for two or more clamps at 60 degrees
Applications
- Horizontal sheet and plate transport where a firm, positive grip matters more than surface protection
- Any m&w horizontal plate clamp setup handling heavier or textured material
- Steel yard and fabrication shop plate bundling and transfer
