Description:
Build a solid foundation without having to look at an exposed post base when you’re finished. The Simpson Strong-Tie CPT66Z is a 6x6 concealed post tie that installs by cutting a slot in your post, which hides most of the connector out of sight and provides your deck, pergola or patio with the cleanest look you will find anywhere. Not only does the 1” standoff provide you with the height needed to keep your post from absorbing standing water, but it’s finished with a sleek black powder coat that will really make your project pop. If you’re looking to build your entire structure with concealed connectors, check out our CBTZ Concealed Beam Ties and CJTZ Concealed Joist Ties.
Looking for a different size CPTZ post base? We also stock CPT44Z 4x4 concealed post ties and CPT88Z 8x8 concealed post ties .
