Simpson Strong-Tie HUSTF hangers are heavy duty 14 gauge top mount hangers. These series of hangers are not acceptable for nailer or welded applications. HUSTF has the double-shear nailing advantage - distributing the joist load through two points on each nail for greater strength. The Strong-Tie HUS212-2TF top flange hanger features a G90 galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

• Use all specified fasteners.

• With 3x carrying members, use 16d x 2 1/2" nails into the header and 16d commons into the joist.
