Pay once, cry once. These are more expensive than the plastics or polymers, but they will be the last ones you buy.
Plastic and polymer will only last 2 maybe 3 winters, the summer sun makes them brittle.
These one piece 304 Stainless Steel roof guards will last the life of the roof.
These roof guards come with EPDM rubber gasket attached to the bottom. I used a little "Lexel" silicone adhesive and Kwikseal Woodbinder Metal Roofing Screws.
Very Happy this will be my last time on the roof.
