Simpson Strong-Tie BC Post Caps are perfect for lightweight post cap or post base connections, not requiring excess fasteners and holding strength. Typically installed with 16d common nails or joist hanger nails, these easy-to-install post caps provide quick, painless installation and good holding strength.


The Simpson BCS Post Caps provide more strength and load values, due to the use of additional double-shear nailing. All Simpson BC or BCS Post Caps are made with 18 Gauge steel, and are available in standard galvanized, or patented ZMAX coating or Stainless Steel for additional corrosion protection in outdoor and harsh environments.
