Building a custom spreader beam from pipe you already have on hand starts with a solid set of end caps, and this heavy-duty kit is built for exactly that job. Add these steel end caps to A53 Grade B, Schedule 80 pipe, 10-3/4" nominal size with a 1/2" wall, to create a modular spreader beam sized to your own project, finished in safety yellow for visibility on the job site or in the shop. The pipe itself should be free of factory defects, irregularities, and any weld joint damage before use. A separate sleeve, sold individually, lets you join two lengths of pipe together for a longer beam.
