Crosby® Vertical Clamps
Crosby® Vertical Lifting Clamp Comparison
Four Crosby® vertical clamp models cover different lifting needs, from general-purpose plate handling to specialized applications. Here's how they compare.
IP10: The Standard
The Crosby® IP10 handles lifting, turning, moving, and vertically transferring sheets, plates, and fabrications, taking material from horizontal to vertical and back again. Working load limits run 1/2 ton to 22-1/2 tons, with a max jaw opening of 4", rated for material surface hardness up to 363HV10 (345 HB).
IPU10: Multi-Directional Lifting
The Crosby® IPU10 covers the same core use as the IP10, but adds a hinged hoisting eye that lets you place and lift the load from any direction, or rig it with a multiple leg sling, without side-loading the clamp. Working load limits range 1/2 ton to 16 tons, with jaw openings from 0 to 4".
IPU10/A: Automatic Engagement
The Crosby® IPU10/A clicks onto the material automatically as soon as it's placed on the plate, which makes clamping in hard-to-reach spots significantly easier. It's available in 1 ton and 2 ton working load limits, with a jaw opening up to 0.79".
IPNM10: Non-Marring
The Crosby® IPNM10 lifts, turns, and moves plates from horizontal to vertical and back without damaging the surface, making it well suited to aluminum, stainless steel, painted materials, aircraft skins, composite material, glass, plastic, and similar finishes. Working load limits run 1/2 ton to 2 tons, with a jaw opening up to 0.38".
