Six Crosby® beam clamp models cover a range of beam types, orientations, and specialized applications. Here's how they compare.

IPBKZ: I-Beam Lifting and Stacking

The Crosby® IPBKZ lifts, transfers, and stacks I-beams, moving and transferring in both vertical and horizontal orientations. Working load limits run 3/4 ton to 3-3/4 tons, with a jaw opening range of 0.19" to 0.63".

IPVUZ/IPVZ: Angle Iron and Small Gripping Areas

The Crosby® IPVUZ and IPVZ handle vertical lifting and transfer of angle iron and loads with only a small gripping area available, extending to vertical and horizontal moving, transferring, and stacking of I-beams, angles, and other structural shapes. Choose between 3/4 ton or 1-1/2 ton working load limits, with a max jaw opening of 0.63".

IPBHZ: Ring-Center Hoist for I-Beams

The Crosby® IPBHZ lifts and stacks I-beams using a ring-center hoist that keeps the beam flange vertical throughout the move, working in both vertical and horizontal moving and stacking applications. Working load limits run 3/4 ton to 4-1/2 tons, with a max jaw opening of 1".

IPBSNZ: Larger Jaw, Higher Capacity

The Crosby® IPBSNZ shares the IPBHZ's core design, but with a wider jaw opening of 0 to 1.25" and a higher working load limit range of 1-1/2 ton to 4-1/2 tons.

IPTK/IPTKU/IPKW: Temporary Tackle Eyes

These models function as a temporary tackle eye for a beam. Some include a hoisting eye and some don't, and the IPTKU adds a double locking device for extra security. Working load limits span 2 ton to 25 ton, with jaw openings from 2.95" to 7.5" across the group.

IPSTARTEC11: Lift and Tilt

The Crosby® IPSTARTEC11 is specially developed to lift with the body in a vertical position while also performing controlled tilting, well suited to transporting and stacking steel "H" and "I" profiles. A movable chain guide lets you switch between lifting and tilting and back again. Available in 1-1/2 ton and 2-1/2 ton working load limits, with a jaw opening range of 0.25" to 0.5".
