Advanced manufacturing techniques give Crosby® clamps the strength to withstand rough field conditions. Every plate clamp, beam clamp, and drum clamp uses a welded alloy steel body engineered for high strength in a lightweight, compact package, and sheet clamps and select other models step up to forged alloy components where the application calls for it.
Smarter Inspections with RFID
Select lifting clamps come fitted with programmable RFID chips, built to work with software like Crosby®'s QUIC-CHECK® Inspection and Identification System. That pairing gives you quick, accurate reference to safe-use information and proper inspection criteria, cutting down the guesswork in a manual inspection process.
Certified and Traceable
Every Crosby® clamp is individually proof tested to twice its working load limit, with a design factor based on EN 13155 and ASME B30.20. Manufacturing takes place in an ISO 9001 facility, and each clamp ships with a user manual and test certificate.
Traceability is built directly into the hardware: the company name (CrosbyIP), logo, working load limit, jaw opening, unique serial number, and proof load test date are permanently stamped on the clamp body. Clamps for sheet metal, beams, drums, and concrete pipe carry Crosby®'s Load Rated® designation, marking hardware with its WLL clearly indicated or affixed.
