Wire Rope Construction

Many wire rope slings use 6x19 or 6x36 EIPS IWRC wire rope. EIPS steel provides high tensile strength, while the Independent Wire Rope Core adds strength and crush resistance.

• 6x19: Generally offers greater abrasion resistance with less flexibility.
• 6x36: Generally provides greater flexibility and fatigue resistance.
