Sling Protection for Wire Rope Slings

"Slings in contact with edges, corners, protrusions, or abrasive surfaces shall be protected with a material of sufficient strength, thickness, and construction to prevent damage." - ASME B30.9 (2021) 9-5.10.4(d)

LiftGuard™

LiftGuard™ wire rope sling protectors deliver strong abrasion and wear resistance. Made from high-performance cast nylon, they attach to your load with magnets that hold them firmly in place.

The heavy-duty version is built specifically to stand up to the wear wire rope slings can cause.

Wear Pads

Wear pads come in Cordura® or nylon, across three sleeve styles. Both materials give general sling protection, and Cordura® adds abrasion resistance on top of that.

Tubular

Tubular sleeves secure with Velcro® and are built to maximize usable surface area. You can shift the contact point with each load, which helps the sleeve last longer.

Sewn

Sewn sleeves are the right choice if you want wire rope sling protection that stays on the same sling for its full service life. Both sides are sewn together, which makes them harder to remove than the quick or tubular versions.
