EHS (Extra High Strength) guy wire is designed to stabilize towers, utility poles, communication structures, antennas, and other installations that require dependable tension support. EHS Guy Wire Configurations

All EHS guy wire available from Fasteners Plus is manufactured from galvanized steel to help resist corrosion and extend service life in demanding outdoor environments. Two strand constructions are available to meet different installation requirements:

• 1x7 EHS Guy Wire available in diameters from 1/4" through 5/8". Its stiffer construction is ideal for permanent guying applications where minimal movement is desired.
• 1x19 EHS Guy Wire available in diameters from 11/16" through 1". This construction offers greater flexibility and higher working load capacities for larger structural support applications.

Guy Wire Clamps

Guy Wire Clamps create field-installed loop terminations by securing the dead end of the strand back to the standing portion of the wire. Standard drop forged wire rope clips provide a durable, economical solution, while Crosby® offers both drop forged and Fist Grip® designs for premium performance. Crosby® clips meet or exceed ASME B30.26 requirements.

Guy Wire Shackles

Bolt Type Anchor Shackles are commonly used to connect guy wire assemblies to anchors, load rings, and structural hardware. Their galvanized finish helps resist corrosion while the secure pin design makes them well suited for permanent installations.

Guy Wire Turnbuckles

Turnbuckles provide an easy way to tension and adjust guy wire assemblies after installation. Popular configurations include Jaw & Jaw Turnbuckles and Jaw & Eye Turnbuckles. For corrosive or marine environments, Fasteners Plus also offers stainless steel Jaw & Jaw Turnbuckles and forged stainless steel Jaw & Jaw Turnbuckles.

Guy Wire Thimbles

Wire Rope Thimbles reinforce the eye of a wire rope assembly while reducing abrasion at the connection point. Fasteners Plus offers both standard-duty and heavy-duty styles in galvanized and stainless steel to match your application and operating environment.
