This allows for faster installation times and strong and durable connections. They are a great option for steel applications. It’s important when using self-drilling screws that the material you are drilling into is softer than the screw itself or the fastener may not be able to penetrate the material. For applications with sealing requirements, there are also options available with EPDM Bonded Washers.
