Eye & Eye Turnbuckles

Eye & eye turnbuckles are one of the most popular turnbuckle styles for secure, dependable tensioning in rigging, marine, construction, and general hardware applications. With a closed eye on both ends, these turnbuckles provide a strong attachment point and typically offer a higher working load limit than hook & hook or hook & eye turnbuckles.

Important: Turnbuckles are recommended for straight or in-line pull only.

How to Choose the Right Double Eye Turnbuckle

When selecting an eye & eye turnbuckle, the most important factors to consider are material, eye type, and manufacturer. Choosing the right combination helps ensure the best performance for your application.

Construction Material

We offer two primary material options for eye & eye turnbuckles: stainless steel and galvanized steel. Both provide excellent strength and corrosion resistance, but the right choice depends on your environment.

Eye Type

Most of our double eye turnbuckles feature elongated eyes on both ends. Elongated eyes help reduce component stress and make it easier to connect shackles, hooks, and other rigging hardware.

The primary exception is our stainless steel eye & eye turnbuckle, which uses a different eye pattern. In most applications, elongated eyes are the preferred choice unless space or connection requirements make another style necessary.

Manufacturer Options

Depending on your budget and application, brand may play an important role in your buying decision. We offer several trusted eye & eye turnbuckle brands ranging from premium USA-made options to dependable, cost-effective alternatives.
